Drivers:

All Island Charter Bus Drivers are Article 19 A certified which entails Pre-Employment Drug Testing and also while employed, Drivers are subject to random drug and alcohol tests. Drivers are also fingerprinted for criminal records. Each driver’s driving record is checked annually, as well as – the company is notified immediately by DMV of any traffic violations a driver may have received. Drivers are subject to bi-annual written and road testing and also Physical Performance testing. Drivers are also required to take refresher classes every six months on new laws and safety procedures.

Attendants:

All Island Charter attendants are subject to Physical Performance testing. Attendants are also required to take refresher classes every six months on new laws and safety procedures, as well as acquiring training in Red Cross First Aid and CPR.
